Youth cricket
development
Personalized development built on what this athlete actually needs — not a fixed syllabus. One plan, set from an assessment, delivered by the coach suited to the work.
Is this right for your player?
- Plays club or school cricket and wants to get better on purpose.
- Has been told what to fix, but not why it matters or how.
- Is willing to work between sessions, not only during them.
- Wants a guaranteed place in a squad. No coach can sell that.
- Is looking for one session to fix a technical fault before a trial.
- Would rather not know what they are working on.
Progress is not steady. Some blocks change a player's game and some are flat. You will be told which one you are in.
Do you coach girls?
Not at present. Every athlete training with the academy today is a boy, and no girls’ sessions are running. If you are asking for a daughter, email archit@becomebetter.ca — that is a conversation to have with a person, not a page.
One plan, held by one person.
One plan
Sessions are taken by the coach suited to the work, but the plan behind them is held by the director and does not restart when the coach changes.
A plan, not a syllabus
Two or three priorities per block, chosen from an assessment. Not ten.
Written down
What was worked on is recorded and shared. You never have to guess.
Taught, not told
A player who understands the fault can correct it without a coach watching.
Six areas, developed together.
Not every area every week. The assessment decides which two or three lead the block.
Technical
A technique that holds under pressure, not just in the nets.
Tactical
What to do, when to do it, and why it works.
Mental
Staying composed when the game gets tight.
Physical
Move better, last longer, carry less injury risk.
Nutrition
Fuel to train harder and recover faster.
Education
Understand your game well enough to fix it yourself.
Coaching with a purpose.
Every player starts somewhere different. Development begins by understanding where the player is today and what is preventing them from progressing.
Assess
Film and score where the player is today.
Understand
Find the cause, not just the symptom.
Plan
Two or three priorities for the block — not ten.
Train
Sessions and drills built around those priorities.
Analyze
Review the footage against the plan.
Improve
Measure the change, then set the next priority.
Archit Singh
We don't just coach athletes. We build problem-solvers. Archit sets the methodology every coach here works to, and holds the development plan for each athlete.
Sessions are taken by the coach best suited to what an athlete is working on — which is the point of having a team rather than a timetable.
What happens next.
Your player is filmed and scored across the six areas.
You get two or three priorities in writing, and the reasoning.
Sessions are built around those priorities and nothing else.
What was worked on is written up and shared with you.
The same measures, run again, so change is visible.
How much it costs.
$250 / month
Three sessions a week. CAD, per athlete.
$100 / session
CAD. Booked individually, no block required.
Camps, clinics and school partnerships are priced case by case — email archit@becomebetter.ca. The first session is free either way, with no obligation to book.
Start with an assessment
Development starts by understanding the player. Book an assessment and you leave with written development priorities — whether you continue or not.
